librrd-dev software package provides time-series data storage and display system (development), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install librrd-dev
librrd-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the librrd-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep librrd-dev *
You will get with librrd-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
